Quilt alaska - Quilt Alaska is a biennial exhibition of traditional andcontemporary quilted items sponsored by Cabin FeverQuilters’ Guild. The non-juried exhibition is held during
the month of July in the even years (2006, 2008
etc.) in the Bear Gallery at the Alaska Centennial Center
for the Arts in Pioneer Park. This year the show
will open on Friday, July 4, 2008 and run until the end
of the month. The Bear Gallery is open seven days a
week from NOON to 8 PM and there is no admission
charge.

This years’ exhibit will feature approximately fifty
items made by local quilters that range in size from
large bed-size quilts, to wall hangings, to quilted clothing
to miniature quilts. The show is one way in which
Cabin Fever Quilters Guild reaches out to the people of
Fairbanks and her visitors to share our joy and enthusiasm
of quilting, as well as showcase our talent.
